Woodside Remodelers is a full-service design-build firm. As your one point of contact, we simplify your communication and save you time and money. Here’s what you can expect from our design-build process:
At the first meeting we’ll sit down face-to-face, provide you with our portfolio and listen to your thoughts, ideas, and budget requirements. We focus on your notes, sketches and clippings. This no-cost consultation determines the project scope and rough cost.
We schedule a second meeting and work begins on the drawings. Our design team puts together sketches and schematics, narrowing down the cost of the project. During this time we’ll also send you to the showrooms to make selections on specific products. The design fee is 2% of the budget price.
Design & Cost Estimation
We revise schematic designs and review them with you. We modify the plan to balance design and budget. Project costs are further defined.
All subcontractors including electricians, plumbers and drywall installers walk through the project site to create an accurate bid.
Presentation of Final Costs
We present you with final designs and costs. If you decide not to proceed, the charges apply and the plans and specifications are your to keep. If you decide continue with the project, we draft a contract and sign. Design costs are then incorporated into the total project costs.
Our production manager develops a schedule for start and completion of the project. During construction, if there are any unexpected changes, we will alert you and produce a work change order for you to sign.
The renovation is complete and we create a final punch list.
